Production Company (DAUPC) and Performance Team (DAUPT) - What’s the difference?
We are thrilled to announce that sign-ups for our 24-25 Production Company (DAU's competition team program) and our 24-25 Performance Team (DAU's community performance program) have gone LIVE this week! We are very proud to offer these two incredible program options at our studio to meet the various needs/interests of our incredible dancers. Wondering which program is right for you? Production Company (DAUPC) - Our competition team program
The goal of Dance Academy USA’s Production Company (DAUPC) is to offer advanced training through a competitive performance environment. DAUPC was created for those highly-dedicated students who wish to broaden their knowledge of dance while building self-esteem through hard work, discipline, and teamwork. Our DAUPC members have pursued impressive collegiate and professional careers (both dance and non-dance related). The self-confidence, poise, and friendships that dancers develop in DAUPC contribute to lifelong success. Auditions for our 2024-2025 will take place on March 9th-10th, 2024. Auditions are open to the public for dancers ages 5-17. Please thoroughly read through the Information Packet and submit your Application to our office or to daupc@danceacademyusa.com. We can't wait to see you at auditions!

Performance Team (DAUPT) - Our community performance team program
The DAU Performance Team is a team of dancers traveling the community to perform at venues such as Great America, Santana Row, Christmas in the Park and Disneyland! This is a great way to be part of a team experience without the rigors of a tryout – or – the financial demands and time requirements of a competitive team. This program is an ideal fit for dancers who want to perform, be part of a DAU team, but still reserve time throughout the week for additional extracurricular activities. In 24-25 we are thrilled to expand this program to offer Jazz and Hip Hop team options, as well as a Pre PT (ages 5-6) teams! All kids age 5-17 of all dance levels and backgrounds are welcome to join and no audition is required! Please review the 24-25 DAU Performance Team Info Packet to learn more about this program, and return the completed application/contract to the office or to marcie@danceacademyusa.com by April 1, 2024 to enroll.
